Production Version 4.5.0 Released

Beta Testing on StrataSearch Version 4.5 is complete, and this release is now being moved into production. Thanks to the many users that installed and ran the beta, and provided us with helpful feedback.

IMPORTANT: Version 4.5 is not an upgrade to Versions 4.2.5 or earlier, but instead requires a new installation. Those running Version 4.2.5 or earlier will need to download and run the full installation. When complete, you may then import data from your existing installation. The following revisions have been made since the final beta release:

* Have Export buttons open directly to spreadsheet in Windows 7. The Export buttons in locations such as the Screener and Combination Results Listing normally export the grid data directly into a spreadsheet. Unique processing in Windows 7 was preventing this from happening, and the data was instead being exported to Notepad. This has now been corrected.

If you are currently running the StrataSearch Beta, use the Help > Check for Updates menu. If you experience any problems, you can also download and install the manual upgrade from the following link:

As mentioned in the first post in this thread, you can import your entire 4.2.5 installation by following the instructions in this post:

If you want a more selective transfer, you can still use the File > Export Database menu to export your setups from your old installation. Then you can use the File > Import Database menu to import that file into your new installation.

Just for clarity,your instructions read for importing data.I view that as price data as opposed to custom formulas.
